The Master’s thesis is worth 18 credits. Students must complete their theses within 12 months.
In the majority of programmes, the Master’s thesis topic can be drawn from the overall Master's course. Some programmes are limited to the student's core studies or to the core studies plus a section of contextual studies.
You are free to propose your thesis topic. However, your supervisors may reject these topics. Practical work is allowed.
The University of St.Gallen Library offers courses to help you research field-relevant information for your Master's thesis.
